My little brother and sister are amazing wonderful kids. They have been so great at waking up in the morning and going on with life. Yes- they have moods, disagreements, moments of insanity but they’re teenagers.

These kids started high school less than a month after our father passed away. I am so proud of them as we approach their finals week. Once we know for sure that they have passed all of their classes I will be so relieved. We did it! Normally I have very high standers for grades but the last few months have been about surviving and making it work- and we have.
P&J- I know you read this. I AM SO VERY PROUD OF YOU. YOU ARE SO STRONG & SO BREAVE. I LOVE YOU!
So now we know we can make it through high school. The twins have learnt how to study for tests, show up, and do assignments on time. I have learnt how to check in on homework, be on top of my brothers IEP, and stay up to date on grades- thank goodness for the high schools online grade book. The waters are calming. They have learnt their responsibilities. I have learnt mine. This semester was just about passing. Next semester will be even smoother and we can focus more on GPA’s.
Fingers crossed finals go well.
